Biography:

Dr. Goldsmith is a board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist who is a full-time attending physician practicing Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). He is Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Goldsmith has an academic interest in using healthcare information systems to aid clinicians in making better, faster, and more informed decisions. Within this capacity, he serves as the Technology and Information Systems Officer for the Cardiac Center at CHOP. Dr. Goldsmith has researched, published, and presented on topics of clinical monitoring of critically ill patients, novel risk prediction modeling, and machine learning in healthcare. He has served as clinical lead on two large-scale hospital-wide clinical information systems implementations.
