Get to Know Us

Rockys House, Inc. is the creation for the pursuit of love and compassion for sustainable and stable housing for families going through life's unimaginable instances. The organization is a recognized 501(c)3, non-profit, founded by the Lynn family in honor of their son, Robert Jett ("RJ") Lynn - also affectionatly known as "Rocky". The Organization launched in 2024 in Virginia and partners with children's hospitals, who identify low- and moderate income families at-risk of foreclosure or eviction, to which it provides financial assistance to these families aiding the parents/guardians so that they may participate in the daily care needs for their child(ren). Donations to Rockys House ensure the organization achieves its mission through its three core goals (financial assistance, supportive services, advocacy) and by also making strategic investments in housing communities via entrepreneurial ventures - further supporting the underserved population it targets.

Leo's Story

Leo Facchiano

Leo Facchiano was born January 14, 2022 in the Special Delivery Unit at CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia). His family had become somewhat familiar with the campus through prenatal heart screenings, but the journey that followed was anything but familiar or expected.

PJ's Story

Paullee Levy Diogene

In Loving Memory of Paullee Levy Diogene Jr. - February 18, 2022 – August 5, 2022
Our beautiful son, Paullee Levy Diogene Jr. “PJ”, was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS)—a rare and severe congenital heart defect in which the left side of the heart is underdeveloped.

Rita's Story

Rita May Hughes

“Rebel” Rita May Hughes was born on July 3, 2021 in the Special Delivery Unit at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). It was confirmed prenatally that Rita had a severe hypoplastic aortic arch and small sided left structures of her heart due to the genetic disorder Turner Syndrome.

Owen's Story

Owen

Owen was born at CHOP in the Special Delivery Unit in October 2022 and was quickly transferred to the Cardiac ICU. Owen was prenatally diagnosed with several severe heart defects. On his second day of life, an echocardiogram showed that his defects were worse than originally detected.
