Role:

Blake, as Investments Officer, reports to the ViceChair, Chair, and President, effectively serving as lead Investment Officer. This is one of the most senior responsibilities, overseeing asset classes within the
investment strategy, for the organization. Additionally, the Investments Officer will strategize and evaluate the aid/grant deployment delivery (to families) that functions Rocky’s House mission. The Investments Officer will be deeply involved in evaluating and managing investments from early-stage venture, and work closely with the other Sr. Leadership & the Board of Directors, making recommendations and evaluating viability.

Blake & the Rocky’s House Board will begin developing an investment strategy to sourcing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, monitoring performance, and managing relationships with external stakeholders. The Officer will contribute to investment policy and asset allocation discussions, as well as the review and preparation of materials for board and other stakeholder engagement.

The Johns Hopkins University – Masters, Real Estate Development, concentration in Finance

Education:

Blake earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Penn State University and also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Blake's strong skills are:

Non-Profit Board experience (VP of Outpost Foundation), Fundraising Experience, Event Coordination (specifically Golf Fundraisers), Core Financial Markets expertise, Real Estate, Technical (official programs), analytical, organizational, communication, relationship building, leadership.
